395 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be awarded a grant to enable her to pursue a post graduate course in University College, Cork, during the academic year 1996/1997. [14931/96]
Cork County Council has informed my Department that the student in question does not meet the academic attainment requirements of the 1992 higher education grants scheme which is the scheme that applies in this case. It is, therefore, not possible to award a grant in this case.
