625 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice the number of applications made to the Circuit Court for a barring order in each of the legal years commencing 1 August 1985 to 31 July 1986, up to and including the legal year commencing 1 August 1995 to 31 July 1996; and the number of barring orders granted in each of these years by the Circuit Court. [15673/96]
The information sought by the Deputy in so far as it is available is as follows.
The number of applications made to the Circuit Court for barring orders in respect of the legal years 1989-90 to 1994-95 and the number of such orders granted in respect of the legal year 1994-95 are not readily available but are being sought and I will arrange for it to be made available to the Deputy as soon as posible.
In addition, the information sought by the Deputy in respect of the legal year ending 31 July 1996 will be compiled after the end of the year and I will also arrange for this information to be forwarded to the Deputy.
