139 Miss Quill asked the Minister for the Environment when he will provide funding for the Blarney water supply augmentation scheme under the water and sewerage services capital works programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18068/96]
Revised contract documents for this scheme were submitted to my Department by Cork County Council on 1 October 1996 and are being technically examined. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I am not in a position to say when the scheme may be allowed to go to construction stage.
