Smith asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, which has been made in relation to the application for grant assistance in respect of the provision of a swimming pool (details supplied) in County Cavan; when the application will be approved; the level of funding to be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The application for funding from the committee concerned is one of a large number of applications which is being considered at present in my Department. A decision in the matter will be conveyed to the committee as soon as possible.
