115 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for the Environment whether he will approve the proposals submitted by Mayo County Council in March 1992, to extend the regional water scheme in Achill, County Mayo in view of the water quality problems prevailing in the area of Owenduff and Tonragee, Achill; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A revised preliminary report for the Achill regional water supply scheme extension to Tonragee and Owenduff is with my Department. Having regard to the existing high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance the scheme.
