121 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the second phase of Ballyhale vocational school, County Kilkenny; the schedule of works to be carried out; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [18696/96]
Phase II, comprising an extension of 1305m² is currently at stage 4, detail design, of architectural planning which has been examined by officials of my Department.
A number of queries have been identified and will be conveyed to County Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee. Once these queries have been addressed satisfactorily the project can proceed to stage V of architectural planning.
This project is listed on the 1996 Capital Programme. Commencement of construction is dependent on the successful completion of architectural planning of the project.
