266 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the total number of people who are funded by his Department in work experience courses, part-time skills, community employment and training courses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19123/96]
As at the end of September 1996 the number of persons, other than the training of employed persons, funded by my Department in the various training, skills enhancement and employment promotion programmes delivered by FÁS was 53,294. The breakdown of this is set out in the following table:
