Written Answers. - Moneypoint (Clare) Power Station.
There is no substance to the suggestion of a sale of Moneypoint power station.
The proposal approved by the Minister for Finance is a lease and leaseback arrangement and does not affect either the ownership or operation of Moneypoint. As no sale arises, I have no views on the ethical implications, if any, which might arise if a sale of assets were to take place.
