118 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications his views on the fact that Aer Rianta International has joined in a consortium in a bid to take part in the Australian Government's privatisation programme. [18215/96]
Aer Rianta International has joined a consortium with certain Australian interests for the purpose of preparing a bid for airports in Australia which are coming on the market. This proposal is at an early stage. The principle, nature and extent of Aer Rianta's involvement in any bid that the consortium may propose will be subject to my approval.
