112 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason, three months after being set up, a Leader group (details supplied) in County Donegal is unable to draw down funds in spite of having seven people employed and other outlays; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The documentation necessary to ensure a drawdown of public funds under the Leader programme was received in my Department from the group concerned only on 16 October 1996. An advance of funding for the group has now been processed and should reach the group's nominated bank account within the next week.
