Written Answers. - Recycling Regulations.
Draft regulations to promote the recycling of packaging waste, including plastic packaging waste on farms, are at an advanced stage of preparation in my Department. Consideration is also being given to what additional measures may be necessary in relation to non-packaging plastic waste on farms. Proposals in this regard are being developed by my Department, in consultation with interested parties, including plastics manufacturers, distributors and farming interests.
