167 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the important contribution Tanagh outdoor education centre is making to social, cultural, economic and sporting life in counties Cavan and Monaghan; if she will make adequate funding available as a matter of urgency in this regard; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am aware of the application made to my Department seeking recognition and funding for Tanagh outdoor education centre. However, it is not open to the Department to provide such recognition until the review of the operation of the nine recognised centres is completed. This review is currently being carried out by the special working group appointed by my Department.
