Grants are payable under my Department's group water scheme programme where two or more householders come together to provide themselves with a piped water supply scheme using a common source.

Ceist:97 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive her first time buyers grant. [21437/96]
A grant cannot be allowed in this case as, contrary to a condition of the scheme, tax clearance has not been provided in respect of the contractor involved in the construction of the house.
