I propose to take Questions Nos. 128 and 129 together.
It is not the practice for the Minister for Justice to make statements to the House about the progress of individual Garda investigations. However, I have been informed by the Garda authorities that extensive searches have been made in this case by gardaí, assisted by Defence Forces and Civil Defence personnel, and that the specialist services of the Garda underwater and dog units have been used in many of these searches. The case is still under active investigation.
