188 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment his usage of air transport for foreign and internal flights to date in 1996; the passengers who travelled with him on each flight; and the related costs in this regard. [23732/96]

I have undertaken 19 foreign and internal flights up to 29 November in 1996. The passenger list for each trip is set out in the statement below. Those listed are officials of my Department except where otherwise indicated. The cost of the trips to my Department on the basis of claims submitted to date is £28,381.38.

The Government jet or Beech aircraft was used for a number of the trips and in these cases, the costs of the flights were not borne by my Department and are therefore not taken into account in the following list. In addition, the statement indicates where some costs were borne by the IDA in respect of its promotion trips.
