32 Mr. Davern asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the action, if any, he has taken to integrate all EU citizens' applications for visas to countries with such requirements in order to ensure that all EU citizens will be on an equal footing when it comes to travel outside the EU. The issue of negotiating common visa requirements for EU nationals travelling to countries outside the EU is not under discussion at present. When progress towards a common EU visa policy is at a more advanced stage it may be appropriate to look at the issue raised by the Deputy.
