93 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education the total moneys spent on computerisation and related matters in her Department in each of the years 1995 and 1996; and the anticipated expenditure in this regard in 1997. [24229/96]
Expenditure on computers and related items in my Department is made from capital and current IT subheads, in addition to a provision for computer consultancy services. The total expenditure in 1995 was £1.09 million and it is expected that the final expenditure outturn for 1996 will be £1.12 million approximately.
It is anticipated that expenditure in 1997 will be at a similar level to that in 1996.
