254 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received the report of the consultancy group on the extent of the backlog of deficiencies in regional and county roads; if so, if he will publish the result of this report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1268/97]

I expect to receive the consultant's report around the end of February. A decision on publication will be made when the report has been received and considered.
