222 Mr. E. Byrne asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to bring back into the educational sphere the derelict portion of the CBS on Armagh Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12; if she intends to allow this building to be used as an extension to the existing special school on Armagh Road; and if she will make a statement on the matter. It is intended to use the vacated wing of the CBS on Armagh Road to accommodate extension of Scoil Eoin special school. Refurbishment of the building is included in my Department's capital programme. The inclusion of the project in the capital programme has enabled architectural planning to commence. When the project is at contract stage, a decision on the timing of the tender-contract process will be taken in light of available funds.
