21 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, further to her reply to a parliamentary question of 28 January 1997, if the Garda have established from the Wildlife Service the number of stag hunts organised by the Ward Union Hunt without a licence and in breach of the law. [3074/97]
As I stated in my reply of 28 January 1997, a number of complaints in relation to this matter are currently under investigation. This remains the case and I am not in a position to add anything further except to say that I have been informed by the Garda authorities that a file in relation to one allegation has been forwarded to the law officers.
