172 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Justice whether a decision has been taken to appeal the High Court ruling in a case (details supplied) under section 24 of the Coroner's Act, 1962; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6264/97]

I understand that a decision has now been taken to appeal the High Court ruling to the Supreme Court. I should point out to the Deputy that I am not a party to the court proceedings.
