Vol. 475 No. 8

Written Answers. - Chief State Solicitor's Office.

John O'Donoghue

Ceist:

190 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice the steps, if any, she will take on foot of a recent report on the structures and management of the Chief State Solicitor's office; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6310/97]

The consultants' report on the Chief State Solicitor's office is currently being examined in my Department with regard to those recommendations which may be of relevance to the Department of Justice and other agencies for which I, as Minister for Justice, have responsibility. I should emphasise that my Department does not have responsibility for the Chief State Solicitor's office.
