Ceist:105 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice when title deeds will issue to persons (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the delay is causing hardship. [7197/97]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that a transfer order from Mayo County Council was completed on 11 April 1996 and the new folio is as stated in the details supplied by the Deputy, i.e. 29798F County Mayo. Since it is the folio of the register, not the deeds, which is evidence of title to registered land, it is not clear from the information supplied whether an application for a certified copy folio or a land certificate has been lodged. If the Deputy wishes to let me have details of such an application, I will be happy to look into this matter further.
