The tender documentation for the renovations at the school referred to by the Deputy is currently in preparation. A decision on a start date will be contingent of the funding available when the tender documents are ready.

Ceist:246 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Education if she will approve the commencement of work to repair the roof of Beaufort College, Navan, County Meath. [8081/97]
The planning and building unit of my Department has requested County Meath vocational education committee to carry out a more comprehensive examination of the roof at Beaufort College, Navan, County Meath.
When the additional information has been assessed by the Department's technical staff, the matter will be advanced further.
