392 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a decision will be made regarding a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has appealed a decision to refuse payment of a 1996 cattle headage premium. [8242/97]

This appeal is now being considered by the headage and premia appeal unit. It is expected that the matter will be finalised within the next two weeks. The herdowner will be notified of the outcome.
