Details of exact expenditure on tuberculosis related grants for the period prior to 1993 are not readily available. The following data details (a) the total grants paid to herdowners under both the bovine tuberculosis and brucellosis eradication schemes each year since 1990 and (b) the grants paid each year from 1993 to 1996 under the bovine tuberculosis scheme.
