A total of £400,000 has been provided under EU Structural Funds for a scheme to improve both the presentation of the national monuments on Scattery Island and visitor access to the island.
Tenders have recently been invited for the construction work on the extension of the landing pier and dredging which is necessary to improve visitor access to the island.
