94 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Justice the plans, if any, she has, to extend the jurisdiction of the Clonakilty District Court area, County Cork; whether Clonakilty Courthouse will be refurbished; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10112/97]

I have no plans to extend the jurisdiction of the Clonakilty District Court area. Clonakilty courthouse is scheduled for refurbishment work as part of my Department's ongoing courts building programme. Cork County Council has been asked to prepare plans for the proposed works.
