I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the present position regarding this dealing is that notices were served on 8 April 1997 and until the notice period expires, the matter cannot proceed.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application under section 49 — i.e. acquisition of title by virtue of long possession — of the Registration of Title Act, 1964 which was lodged in the Land Registry on 22 October 1996.
I understand that due to their complicated nature, applications under section 49, take some time to process and it is not possible to estimate a completion time at this stage.
