213 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the changes in the prices of the main agricultural products, namely, cattle, milk, cereals, sugarbeet, sheep and pigs, in the most recent 12 month period for which official data is available; the comparative figures over the past two years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Price changes for the commodities mentioned by the Deputy, as measured in a series of price output indices which are published by the CSO, are available up to February 1997. The following table reflects the changes in these indices for each of the commodities in the 12 and 24 month periods of February 1997.
