Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services capital programme for 1997, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance this scheme.

The Donegal town sewerage scheme has been approved to be advanced through planning and design stages under my Department's water and sewerage services work programme for 1997. The local authority was requested to prepare an environmental impact statement and submission of this is awaited.
