Written Answers. - Remedial Teacher Service.
I am sure the Deputy will appreciate that there are many competing demands for increased funding in all sectors of education. These demands are considered within the overall budgetary constraints. Unfortunately, in current circumstances, I am not in a position to allocate additional ex-quota remedial posts to second level schools. However, the position will be kept under review and Colaiste Mhuire, Parnell Square, will be considered when next it is possible to increase the remediation service.
