Ceist:354 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when sanction will be given for the provision of a new fire station in Ardee, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14573/97]

Additional information in relation to this project is awaited from Louth County Council. When this information is received, the project will be further considered in the light of the funds available for the fire services capital programme and the current level of demands.
