447 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the cost of changing the name and responsibilities of her Department; if such expense will be borne from internal savings or by Supplementary Estimate; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14849/97]
Costs to date incurred by my Department due to changing the name and responsibilities of the Department amount to some £ 7,700. These costs will be met from existing budgets.
In connection with the transfer of responsibilities for Islands it will be necessary to seek a Supplementary Estimate to allow my Department to expend funds currently provided for under subhead F2.4 of the Vote of the Department of the Taoiseach.
