479 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will request the Garda to take action regarding recurring illegal car-parking (details supplied) in Dublin 7 where it could obstruct access by emergency services. [14498/97]
The matters raised by the Deputy have been brought to the attention of the Garda authorities.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are aware of an increase in the number of drivers attempting to park in the area referred to by the Deputy.
Traffic wardens and Garda patrols have been detailed by local Garda management to pay particular attention to this area.
