91 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Defence the reason for the prolonged delay in transferring a property (details supplied) in Dublin 7 to Dublin Corporation in view of the fact that its continued dereliction is a major problem for local residents. [15258/97]
The house in question is in the process of sale to Dublin Corporation. My Department is taking all possible steps to have the legal formalities completed as soon as possible and in that regard the Department has offered to let the corporation take possession of the property under a caretakers agreement before the transaction has been finalised.
