113 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Education and Science the amount of additional funding which will be provided by his Department for computer and internet provision in primary schools to supplement recent grants from the private sector. [15210/97]
My Department is currently finalising the arrangements for a major programme of investment by the Government in information and communications technologies in first and second level schools. I will be launching this programme in the near future and will be in a position to announce details of the extent of funding involved at that time.
