112 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will authorise construction to commence on the extension approved by his predecessor to St. Patrick's CBS national school, Portarlington, County Laois; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15208/97]
The design team engaged by the school management of St. Patrick's CBS, Portarlington, County Laois, is currently preparing the tender documentation for the proposed extension. A decision on the tender and contract process will be taken when this documentation is finalised. At this point, it is too early to say when construction will commence.
