Ceist:179 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the current situation regarding the provision of a sewerage scheme for Gweedore, County Donegal. [15425/97]
Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
This scheme formed part of the Gaeltacht Area Cohesion application sent to the European Commission in September 1995, on which a decision has not been given. However, following discussions with the Commission a separate Cohesion application in respect of the Gweedore scheme will be submitted shortly by my Department. Pending a decision by the Commission on the proposed application, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance this scheme.
