64 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science the additional provisions, if any, he proposes in the 1998 Estimate for the youth service; and if he will make a statement on the funding of the Irish youth service. [16572/97]

The 1998 Estimate for the education services, including that for the youth service, is the subject of ongoing discussion. When decisions have been finalised the information will be made available in the published Estimates for 1998.
