My Department has received proposals from the Regional Technical College, Cork in relation to the provision of a new purposebuilt tourism and catering studies building. A design team has been appointed for the project and the brief is at an advanced stage of preparation.
The provision of funding for the project is being considered in the context of the IR£250 million education technology investment fund, of which IR£20 million has been set aside for tourism-catering related projects.
