132 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she will confirm that all questions and correspondence are answered in both Irish and English in view of her Department's bilingual policy. [20681/97]

Questions or correspondence received in my Department in Irish or English are generally answered in the language used by the correspondent. Questions relating specifically to Gaeltacht or Irish language matters are normally answered in Irish.
