159 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will reply to Deputy Owen's inquiries regarding the provision of incremental credit to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who has sought incremental credit for a particular teaching experience. [20885/97]
Deputy Owen wrote to my predecessor in this matter. The service given by the person in question as a lecturer is currently not reckonable for the award of incremental credit under any existing scheme. However, I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the various schemes are the subject of a review in my Department and officials from my Department will correspond with the person involved as soon as the review has been completed.
