Vol. 483 No. 5

Written Answers. - Architectural Heritage.

Bernard J. Durkan

Ceist:

77 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands whether her attention has been drawn to the fact that the obelisk at Maynooth, County Kildare, known as Connolly's Folly, has been deemed unsafe and has been closed to the public; if she will have a survey carried out with a view to making the necessary financial and logistic provisions to restore the monument; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [20789/97]

I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 130 of yesterday.
