343 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the various sources of grant aid that can be applied for by a group establishing a central headquarters for a school students league involving thousands of students in Dublin. [22196/97]
My Department administers a range of programmes which assist in the development of sport in Ireland, including a sports capital programme which assist voluntary community organisations in the provision of improvements to, and equipping of recreational, leisure and community facilities, and support for certain recognised national governing bodies of sport.
Accordingly, I suggest that the group referred to by the Deputy contact my Department in order to discuss their specific requirements.
