Moynihan-Cronin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the role, if any, of her programme manager; if she is responsible for her while working under the aegis of the Department of the Taoiseach as she indicated on 6 November 1997; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Miss Harney)

The essential function of my programme manager is to secure the implementation of the commitments in the programme for Government. The programme manager is responsible for monitoring and co-ordinating the implementation of the programme. As I stated in my reply of 6 November 1997, she works under the aegis of the Department of the Taoiseach and is responsible to me.
