122 Mr. Gormley asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she has satisfied herself that all safety procedures have been fully complied with in Dublin port and that the port is satisfactorily staffed to deal with an emergency situation. [22338/97]

It is a matter for the employer to ensure that all occupational health and safety legislation is complied with and it is the national authority for occupational health and safety — the HSA — which monitors compliance with the legislation.
