171 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the current status for an application under the weather related crop losses scheme for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact this person is experiencing financial hardship. [3367/98]
All the applications including the application from the person in County Limerick received under the scheme for weather related crop losses are currently being examined in relation to the criteria set for the scheme. Payments will commence following that detailed examination and when the necessary clearance is received from the EU Commission, which is expected towards the end of March.
