226 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Finance when an income tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will clarify if previous tax rebates were the full amount due to the applicant. [5205/98]
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that two repayments made to the taxpayer in respect of claims covering the period July 1997 to December 1997 were based on the self-employed C45 tax procedures. Both claims were paid in full less deduction of PRSI and levies. No further claims have been received. The position will be reviewed on receipt of further C45s or evidence of unemployment.
