37 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will pursue the development of the production of new types of cheese at a company (details supplied) in County Waterford in order to maintain and increase employment levels at the plant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Decisions regarding the development and production of cheese types and the location of such production are commercial matters for the company referred to by the Deputy. Naturally, I would be supportive of any viable proposal to diversify and add value within the dairy sector, including the development of new cheeses.
